Z-Flex 4" Universal Appliance Adapters for Takagi Tankless Water Heaters

There are 3 different 4" diameter universal appliance adapters that are manufactured by Z-Flex that will be required to adapt the 4" single wall stainless steel venting for the Takagi tankless water heaters.  There is a standard 4" universal appliance adapter, then there is a 4" universal appliance adapter with back flow preventer and then there is the 4" universal appliance adapter with back flow preventer and condensate drain.

The Takagi T-H3J-OS is a condensing unit with a maximum of 160,000 BTU and is ideal for most all residential homes.  The T-H3J-OS is an outdoor unit and requires a minimum of a 3/4" gas line. The T-H3J-OS comes set for either Natural Gas (NG) or Liquid Propane (LP). Unlike traditional non-condensing models, condensing technology captures heat from the exhaust gas and uses it to preheat the incoming cold water. This increases efficiency and reduces emissions -- Complies with Ultra-Low NOx regulations of less than 14 ng/J (<20ppm). Takagi Remote Temperature Controller (TK-RE02)

The Takagi Remote Temperature Controller (TK-RE02) #9007666005 is an accessory that comes with the Takagi models T-KJr2-IN, T-KJr2-OS,  T-K4-IN and T-K4-OS.  The Remote Temperature Controller allows the output temperature to be adjusted beyond the factory settings, and works as a diagnostic tool for error codes.  (Not compatible with the Ultra-Low NOx models)

The Remote Temperature Controller (TK-RE02) gets wired into the Takagi tankless water heater and is able to raise and lower the temperature from 99° F - 167° F.  The remote controller has a function that automatically memorizes the temperature settings. In the case of power supply blackouts, the remote controller will still retain these settings when the power returns.
